Not Boy

The theme "Not Boy" is supposed to be for anything that's not a boy, but it seemed appropriate to choose a female subject. This is my mom giving me that look she gives me when she hopes that I'll give up trying to take a good photo, but honestly, I really like this. My cousin, Anita, liked the last one of Mom that I posted so much and I hope she'll like this one, too!

The Weekend

Out for Sunday Brunch at Manchester's Grill. We like going there for a drink because it's close enough to walk.

Paternal

This is my nephew, Dustin, with his father, my brother Willie's fingers above his head! That seems paternal to me...dads in my family are smart-asses!

Family

John with two of his brothers. This was taken at the memorial service for their eldest sister, Julie, in August this year. There were 11 children in their family.

Wine

John's brothers, Victor and Patrick, sharing a toast at the Skyline Inn and Tavern in Little Switzerland, NC. We usually drive there from where Patrick lives in Yancey County to have dinner because Yancey County is "dry". We can have a drink with dinner at the Skyline because it's located in a neighboring county!
