This is Midnight just minutes after he returned from his 17 day adventure into the great outdoors last fall! He calmed down and came to sit with us on the couch about 15 minutes later.

Coincidentally, just yesterday she managed to get her collar off and we have not been able to find it in our house, although it HAS to be here somewhere. When I saw that today's Photo Friday theme was "Pet" I wondered how I would chose one photo. You're looking at Robbie watching Sammy sleep, a recent photo of the two. I take photos of my cats nearly every day, it was hard to choose one.

Best of 2008

Best is so subjective. I don't consider myself a technically good photographer, although I get lucky sometimes. Since I promised myself that I wouldn't use a photo more than once in this blog, this photo of Mimi and Sammy is my "best" that I haven't posted yet, and one of my favorite subjects!
