What you are looking at are the repaired gravestones of one set of my immigrant ancestors, John and Eleanor (Mitchell) Atkinson. They came to America from Northern Ireland and settled in what is now the panhandle of West Virginia in about 1793. I learned of their burial place in 1997, but I wasn't able to find the cemetery until the summer of 2007 during my 4th or 5th visit to the area to search.
