You are a pest by the very nature of that camera in your hand.

Self-Portrait

I'm tired of looking at pictures of my face (see here and here and here...all since last Friday,) so here is just a small part of me.

2.0

I'm really happy with my new bike helmet! I had been looking for one for a while that would match my purple bicycle! And I hope this will be the last time I feel it's necessary to post a picture of myself for a while!

It Had to be You

On the day before our wedding anniversary this year, John and I took a day trip to Kure Beach, NC. In the same area is the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher. As you walk thru the aquarium, you start out in the Cape Fear Conservatory (which can be seen to the right in this 3D map. It's a habitat for birds, fish and reptiles that live in the Cape Fear River. The roof is glass, which lets in lots of sunshine, making the place very bright and beautiful, but that also makes it difficult to get a good photograph of the animals thru the Plexiglas aquariums. I finally gave up trying to capture the fish in this one clearly and called John over to stand next to me so I could take a picture of the two of us!

Self-Portrait 2008

Well, Shutterday is doing self-portraits tomorrow, too, so you'll be seeing me again then. This is one I took of myself for something that the forum readers on Find a Grave called "Global Graving Weekend". We were supposed to get out to take pictures in a cemetery and take one of ourselves while we were there. I propped my camera up on another tall gravestone with a flat top to take this one.
