Comfort food

I knew I was saving this photo for something special!

I know that PhotoHunt submissions are supposed to be new (although I had forgotten that rule until a few weeks ago when another photo-blogger mentioned it in a post), but I can't think of anything more comforting than a turkey dinner. This was John's first helping from last Thanksgiving!

Pumpkins

While driving around St. Mary's County in Maryland last week, I came across a Corn Maze with a huge pumpkin patch by it. I didn't go to the corn maze, but I couldn't resist stopping along the road to take pictures of the pumpkins!

Orange & Brown

As you can see from the tree in the background, there's not a lot of color change on the trees here yet, but we're starting to see some fall. This dead leaf was resting on my car window when I came out of a store yesterday.
