This is a view of the New River Gorge Bridge near Fayetteville, WV. I took this from the observation deck at the Canyon Rim Visitor Center on a very foggy day. The bridge is famous for being the longest steel arch bridge in the western hemisphere, for it's annual Bridge Day Festival, and for being on the design for the West Virginia state quarter.

hi cherie! that's a scary, tall metal bridge there! nice shot, i must say. i just started with the hobby, i mean, photography. very new to it. and very new to blogging, too. tho am into painting and drawing all my life, i find photography just as addictive as well. sad thing is i still don't have a better cam. as soon as i get a better one, i'll be making a separate photoblog, too! cheers!
