There's a little bit of a story that goes with this one. Several years ago, I took a snapshot of people on this beach with my 35mm camera. When I had the film developed, I noticed the cooling towers in the background for the first time. It seemed ominous to me then, knowing there was a nuclear plant that close to a very crowded beach. This shot was an attempt to recreate that moment, but I haven't been back there since when the beach was full of people. The original was much better, in my opinion, but I'm too lazy to look for the print to scan.

Thanks for taking the time to tell me what you think!
When I got a new camera, I started feeling ambitious. I've been entering my very ordinary snapshots on every photo meme site I can find. Maybe there's someone out there who won't think they're all just awful!
I would really love to hear what people think. I've also added the ratings recently in case there are people who have an opinion but don't feel like writing a comment!
All of these pictures are stored on Picasaweb and I've set up a slideshow of them on the bottom of the left column. If you're interested, clicking on the entry will open another window where you can see more info, such as the date and location of the picture. Or check out this map showing where my pictures were taken.
Clicking on the post title should take you to the challenge where I've submitted the photo.
